                                               Painting is something I have always loved and                                                whilst I am essentially self taught I have taken                                                many opportunities to study with professional                                               artists and tutors to develop techniques and                                               different perspectives. I work mainly in oils and enjoy painting portraits, landscapes, animals and, well, just about anything really. In fact, living in rural Ireland there are so many opportunities for inspiration from the natural world to the colourful characters and rich history.

I have exhibited across Ireland and probably my biggest event was the inclusion of my portraits of “Women of the 1916 Easter Rising” in the “Revolution 1916” exhibition at the Ambassador Theatre, Dublin for six months of 2016 as part of the National commemoration events.
